NDK Resource loading and OpenGL on LG GW620

I have got a LG GW620 for couple of days to play with. It comes with Android 1.5 (Cupcake)
I had a chance to try both resource loading directly from native code without tripping back to java, and initializing / running OpenGL from native code.

The resource loading works as expected and described in previous post.
OpenGL initialization also works without problem. Bellow is the information reported by the glGetString related to version, vendor, renderer and OpenGL extensions for  this phone (LG GW620):
